Useful, honest crochet guidance
Loopora Crochet publishes educational crochet content for English-speaking readers. Our aim is to explain the steps and decisions behind a project, rather than reproduce other creators’ work.
Accuracy and terminology
Guides should state whether they use US or UK terminology. Project instructions should identify materials, abbreviations, stitch counts, dimensions and relevant limitations. We correct substantive errors when identified and update affected instructions.
Testing and illustrations
We do not claim that a project has been physically made, independently tested or photographed unless that is true. An illustrative image is not proof of a finished pattern. Readers should swatch and check measurements for projects where fit or size matters.
Original work and attribution
We do not republish paid patterns or copy other creators’ photographs without permission. When discussing another creator’s pattern, we identify the source and direct readers to the original instructions rather than substitute our own copy.
Assisted writing
AI tools may assist with drafting, organisation and editing. This assistance does not establish practical testing, personal experience or authorship of another creator’s design. Those claims require separate evidence.
